How fragile can life be? And how full of uncertainty it is. Sometimes it can bring wonder and joy and other times it brings fear and sorrow. How do we handle these emotions and how do we cope? I wish I knew an answer to deal with all these emotions.

Falling Apart

life seems to be unraveling. Both grandparents are in the hospital , in different ones in the same city. A 2 hour drive away, which my cousins and I made today to see them. Life is so precious and fragile and so indeterminate of what we want.

Dyeing fabric .... again

I have spent the better part of the day dyeing fabric, well, between playing outside with my children and cooking and church.

It is so satisfying to dye your fabric to match a piece you have purchased. And so very fun.
This is anohter one of my charity quilts. I would love to just do art quilts all the time, but how can I do that, when I am blessed with 2 healthy children? So I must give back, and it is still using my creativity.

My children are my life. My boys are so beautiful in every way and so precious. I make children's quilts and send them down to London Ontario to go to kids with cancer. This is one of them. The elephants are so fun.

Spring is Here!

Blue sky definitely heals the soul and refreshes the mind. Am still working on my Australian quilt. This is a cake I made for my son's birthday.

It is cold and rainy here today, but I don't mind, I am baking yummy bread and cinnamon buns.

Here is my children's art work.

Spring is finally here, I can see my tulips starting to bud.
I did this quilt in 2006 as a guild challenge, we had to use the floral fabric in the centre. These are 2 pairs of hands reaching up to their mother.
